Subject :FAQ: Can I apply for a grant in this round if I already have an open project?
ANSWER: A most definite YES! This question is one of the most frequently asked. An open project does not in any way put you at a disadvantage...even if the project had to be extended for reasons beyond your control. Many recipients of Park and Trail Partnership Grants have multiple projects open at a time. However, if the project is delayed due to internal factors such as overdue form submissions, or poor performance/communication on behalf of the applicant, that could have an impact on our reviewers' decisions. If you have an open project, be absolutely sure that all of the documentation and reports (e.g. interim report, extension report) are up to date. You can check by logging in to the Grant Portal and clicking on the open project to see if there are any actions pending. |
